ADCH MACH2 Pinkus of Warrenville Acres XF, CD, CGC or "Pinky"
"Although Pinky and I have had incredible success in the canine world, the most important thing we share is our bond.
To say I love this dog with my entire being still does not adequately express how much she is a part of my life.
Early on someone said to me "You have a Dalmatian, why do you bother trying?" I never understood that comment because in my eyes I didn't have a difficult dog, just a different kind of dog.
It's true, Pinky has challenged me in more ways than I can list on paper. It's also true that I've loved every minute of this adventure.
This page is dedicated to Pinky, the dog who has given me so very much."

Pinky is now a MACH dog and one of only a handful of Dalmatians to have earned this title.
After having retired her from Agility when she earned her ADCH several years ago, I hadn't planned to go for the AKC title. But after running her since moving to Washington, I realized how close I was and decided I'd be a fool not to go for it!
At 9.5, she's been running great and has been very consistent. It was an exciting day as we started off needing just 1 Double Qualifier and only 11 points left to go. We ran clean in Standard, earning 12 points and so it came down to our Jumpers With Weaves run.
In her true Dalmatian fashion, Pinky felt "conservative" was for wimps and once released at the start, did her best to achieve MACH Speed. While she didn't quite reach 750 mph, she did have a 28 second jumpers run (that's 5.7 yards per second) and earned herself a 2nd Place and a steak dinner - compliments of me.
As I write, she's napping peacefully at my feet....I think I should go get her another pillow.... : )
Why the dress? Owner Lisa Selthofer was off to attend a wedding, but stopped to run Pinky for her MACH2 (check out those gym shoes!). We're sure this MACH ritual will be catching on across the country!
Of course the next time someone says "You run like a girl!" I'm sure to bring up this picture as proof : )
Pinky was in fine style as well, running a 28 second JWW course at the young age of 10 years.
